MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the Jersey City Police Foundation is to improve
the quality of life for the people of Jersey City by the expansion of public safety through the fostering of tangible and direct community support.This Community support is sought in a variety of interactive ways, one of which is the providing of resources which are not readily available through other means. These resources will then be utilized by the Jersey City Police Department in a wide variety of ways to help it fulfill its Mission to provide the people of Jersey City with the most effective, efficient, cutting edge law enforcement available today.
The Jersey City Police Foundation is the first organization of its kind in the State of New Jersey.
The Jersey City Police Foundation is the only organization authorized to solicit funds on behalf of the Jersey City Police Department for its own use. The Jersey City Police Foundation does not make telephone solicitations nor does the Jersey City Police Department.
